German's Chancellor Merkel is in conflict with British PM Cameron.
She faces a growing dispute with D. Cameron about the EU budget.
The British Premier warns that he could veto any increase in spending and is demanding a real freeze in the budget.
On the other hand the European Commission has asked for a 5% increase in spending. The German Chancellor could come down in favor of the Commission.
This is another serious confrontation between two major european countries even if in the end they will reach a compromise.
In fact, it proves Germany's determination to strengthen the EU through a greater integration while 
Britain grows away from the idea of United States of Europe.
Britain faces again a dilemma. Inside or outside Europe ?
